This townhome condominium community was built in 2008 and designed by a team of Eugene-based architecture and landscape firms of James W. Givens Design, 2 Form Architecture and Schirmer + Associates. The neighborhood of thirty townhomes within six buildings was developed around a series of private and public garden spaces with contemporary Craftsman-style architecture. Each townhome has a one-car attached, finished garage and outdoor parking space. The interior spaces feature open, flexible floor plans with both nine foot high and vaulted ceilings. Each condominium has its own garden space, visually extending the living space to the outside, and providing a private patio for the one and two bedroom units. The studio units each have a second-floor outdoor deck.
The units are fully air-conditioned with a heat pump and are wired for both cable and high speed Internet.
High-quality materials were used throughout construction, including:
- Cedar Shake siding and Pella brand casement thermopane windows and patio doors
- Shaker-style solid core doors and engineered real wood floors
- Solid granite countertops in kitchen and bathrooms
- Shaker-style cherry cabinets with stainless steel GE Profile Energy Star appliances and gas cook top
- Designer-grade plumbing and electric fixtures
The entire site is professionally landscaped with trees, ground cover, grass and perennials, benches, pavers and a trellis pedestrian entry at Cal Young Road.
