John C. Rosenthal – President of Realty Marketing/Northwest, has over thirty years experience in real estate marketing, planning and development. He has been with Realty Marketing/Northwest since 1986, and President since 1990. Over 1.3 billion in real estate has been sold at auction since 1990. In 1998, Realty Marketing/Southeast was established to serve the firm’s timberland clients in the Southeast.
Mr. Rosenthal has designed and managed the firm’s major assignments within the forest products industry for Hampton Affiliates, JELD-WEN, Rosboro, Sierra Pacific Industries, Roseburg Resources, Forest Capital Partners, Louisiana Pacific, and others. He has managed auctions of surplus real estate for corporations and lenders, and manages the firm’s exclusive auction marketing contract with the Oregon Department of State Lands, for the Common School Fund.
Realty Marketing/Northwest and Realty Marketing/Southeast were ranked fifth in the nation in auction land sales by The Land Report in 2011.
Before joining RM/NW, Mr. Rosenthal worked as a manager in the corporate real estate department of International Paper Company, and as a planning consultant at Raymond, Parish and Pine, in New York State. In addition, he was the project manager of a mixed-use development project for the New York State Urban Development Corporation which won a national design award.
He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati School of Design, Art and Architecture, with a degree in Urban Planning and Design. He is the Principal Broker for Oregon, and Broker for Washington.

Sharon H. Peede – Executive Vice President of Realty Marketing/Northwest, joined RM/NW in 1997 and is responsible for brokerage and escrow operations. She has supervised complex auction marketing assignments for court appointed trustees, corporations, and lenders. Her twenty-five years experience in real estate has also included asset management, loan administration, property development and leasing.
Ms. Peede manages: due diligence and inspection of properties, production of bid packages, preparation of sale and contract documentation, property closing.
She has a business administration degree from Southern Oregon University. She is the Designated Managing Broker for both Washington and California, and is a Broker for Oregon.

Colleen A. Cowan – Director of Advertising, joined Realty Marketing/Northwest in 1996.  Ms. Cowan is responsible for implementing, scheduling, purchasing and budgeting auction-related media, including newspaper, television, radio, on-line and direct mail advertising.  She maintains the company database of over 100,000 entries, generates auction reports and sales data, and assists with business development, auction catalog preparation and property sales.

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Oregon University, and is both an Oregon and Washington Real Estate Broker.

Troy Hall – Digital Media Director, joined Realty Marketing/Northwest in 2012. He manages graphic design of print material, website management, business development exhibits, aerial photography and site photos.  He coordinates with vendors, trains and supports staff, maintains company computer hardware and software, and assists with technical issues.  He manages production and distribution of Supplemental Information Packages.

Mr. Hall has both a Bachelor of Arts degree, with emphasis in business administration, and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree, both from Pacific University, in Forest Grove. He is both an Oregon and Washington Real Estate Broker.

Jill Hartzell – Controller, joined Realty Marketing Northwest in 1996. Ms. Hartzell has a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University, in accounting. She is an Oregon Real Estate Broker.

Marti Cohn – Senior Associate, with responsibility for editing all printed and on-line marketing materials used throughout the auction process, and contact with the media for purposes of marketing.  She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oregon, and a Master degree from the University of Chicago.

Robert A. Krueger – Senior Associate, with thirty years banking experience in the Pacific Northwest, and past president of a Portland-based business bank, Mr. Krueger advises financial institutions on their real estate disposition needs.  Mr. Krueger has been a senior associate with Realty Marketing/Northwest since 2013, and has auctioned properties for Columbia Bank, Riverview Community Bank, Inland Northwest Bank, Anchor Bank, Bank of the Pacific, Prime Pacific Bank and Premier Community Bank.  In addition, Mr. Krueger is the founder and president of Rocklyn Capital, which assists Pacific Northwest lending institutions in the management and growth of their commercial and real estate loan portfolios.

Mr. Krueger graduated from Whitworth University, in Spokane, Washington.  He is a licensed broker in both Oregon and Washington.

Lance Waugh – Auctioneer, has conducted auctions for RM/NW for over fifteen years. He is a Real Estate Broker for Oregon.  Mr. Waugh has been a professional auctioneer since 1986.  He conducts auto and charity auctions in the Pacific Northwest, and is the owner of L.A.W. Auctions.
