Doomsday Ranch is well-stocked with an
estimated 4,073 MBF. Sixty percent of the volume
is Douglas-fir, white and red fir, and the balance
primarily ponderosa, sugar and white pine.

Forty two percent of the Ranch has moderate-
to north-facing slopes which contribute to its
productivity as timberland. A portion of the
Ranch was harvested in 2007. There are 21± acres
of pine plantations on the property.
The AG-2-B-40 zoning will allow some development of the Ranch which could include an RV park
with airstrip, and commercial campground to benefit from its proximity to Kangaroo Lake, four miles
from the property, with the additional potential of subdividing portions of the Ranch.
