THE ORCHARDS
Miller Orchards is made up of eight individual orchards. The location of the orchards at elevations ranging from 3300±
feet to 3700± feet provide a later harvest season which is sold primarily to the fresh market.
The orchards range in size from 9.5± to 23.6± acres and provide seven different sweet cherry varietals. 53% of the or-
chards are planted with Lambert, 20% Lapin and the balance in Rainier, Sweet Heart, Bing, Skeena and Royal Ann. The
average age of the orchards are 23.6 years, with 35% of the orchard 6 to 10 years old.
