DESCRIPTION: This 9.72± acre tract, located in Waldport, Oregon, was formerly operated as a whole-
sale orchid nursery and contains a 1,440± square foot three bedroom, two bathroom manufactured
home, and 100,000± square feet of greenhouses within three complexes. There are also two wood-
frame boiler sheds.
The orchid nursery specialized in growing Cymbidium orchids, but ceased operations in May 2016.
Oregon Pacific Bank acquired the property in June.
The greenhouses have a combination of corrugated acrylic plastic and Visqueen (poly) sheet vinyl
covering the roofs and siding. Eleven of the greenhouses are 21 feet by 204 feet and the remaining are
42 feet wide by varying lengths ranging from 144 to 264 feet.
One-third of the greenhouses that are part of the eastside complex, or 33,264± square feet, can be
heated, using a system of overhead heaters and fans for ventilation. A boiler building is adjacent to the
complex. Six of the west side greenhouses have a system of underground pipes for heat. The boiler
building which services the west side greenhouses also houses the water filter, pump and fertilization
