DESCRIPTION: This 197± acre timber tract is located along the North Santiam River Canyon, 2.5±
miles east of Marion Forks, and within the Willamette National Forest. A timber deed was sold and
the harvesting should be completed by mid-2017. Please see Supplemental Information Package. An
estimated 8 acre buffer will remain on the property, along with setbacks from Parkett Creek on the
southern boundary. The buyer will be responsible for the reforestation of the property.
The tract has moderate to steep east- and south-facing slopes. Parkett Creek is along the southern
boundary of the tract and there is a small amount of North Santiam River frontage in the southeast
corner. Access to the property is from USFS and private lands that are adjacent to the tract that in the
past have provided temporary access to the property.
